The other photo isn't really relevant at all,
as it was taken at Edge Hill Primary School, but does
show four contemporaries engaged in a groundbreaking piece of research
into pendulum dynamics: from left to right, Stephen Schofield, Stephen
Cort, David Pickering and me on the chair. .......Best wishes to all those
people I haven't seen for thirty eight years, and I hope all goes well for
