I was either in the scouts or played 1st XV rugby with them.

Following the “Buster’s Memory is Missing” Appeal, Roy Buster Bradley
has received the following replies:
Terry Morse: Buster, I remember you (I think). You used to run the pub
in Cross St, cask Bass from the wood.........didn’t you???Surprised to see me on
the Internet at last. If it’s any interest the names in the 1964 - 5A form photo
are as follows (Top Row) Martin Smith, Andy Fawkes, Paul Farnsworth, William
Smith, Chris Birkin, John Butler, Nigel Radford, Peter Evans, Roy Brassington,
ME-Terry Morse, (Bottom Row) Steven Dines, Richard Cope, David Kirkland, John
Hutt, Ezra (bless him), Paul Robinson, Martin? Taylor?, Paul Andrews, Michael
Bexon. Messrs Dines, Cope, Kirkland, & Hutt did in fact join us in 4A having
missed their third year, as they were alleged to be cleverer than most folks. I
live in Sussex now. The only person I keep in contact with is Pete Evans who

Regarding the
photographs, Terry Morse is spot on with the names- the one first name he
missed is Michael “ Spud “ Taylor. I think this must be 1964/65 L VI Sc (1)
or 1965/66 U VI Sc (1) as Spud took a year out in the States and then came
back to join us in the Sixth, but I can’t remember in which year. The
prefect’s year (see other picture) must be the year ahead in 1964/65?; next
to Barry Minns is Mickey Warren and I think it is Tony Fisher between Mick
Babcock and Charlie Reece. (says

Hi Buster, Pete Redfern here. I
left BGS before reaching these dizzy heights, but some more names on your
(Prefects in 1964) picture are...Left of Charlie Reece is Dave Redfern , Right
of Charlie is Mick Badcock. The guy with specs left of Andy Pitts is Criuchie
Hill. Left of Dave Rose is Spider Grffiths, then Geoff Johnstone and Bob Nutt.
On the front row I think the left is Michael Smith, then Robert Smith. Right of
The Beak is T.A.K. Thompson. That’s all I recognise. All the best, Pete.
