1939/40 Roll

Attached are 5 slices of the school photo from, I guess, 1939 but someone else may know better. The staff row includes : Pitchford, Cooper, ?, Jenkins, Brown, Tom? Parkin, Moody (I think), Nicholson, ? ?, Read, Hammond, Davies, ?, ?, Illingworth.  Jenkins left in the 40’s and went to Devon to teach at a prep school for Milfield.(Graham Brown a.graham.brown@ntlworld.com )

The photo was almost certainly taken in 1939 or 40, as the Head at the time was Mr Frazer, who is sitting between Parkin and Nicholson. Frazer died, suddenly, I'm pretty sure in 1940.  I've a feeling Pitchford stood in for a time, then Moody took over.  Moody definitely isn't in the picture.  (John Clubb)
